Terms of Use
The terms governing registration, participation, payment and conduct at the forum.
Last updated 9 August 2026
01Acceptance
By creating an account, submitting an application or attending the conference, you agree to these terms and to the code of conduct referenced below.
02Eligibility
Delegate applications are open to participants aged 13 to 24. Applicants under 18 must have the consent of a parent or guardian, confirmed during registration.
You must provide accurate information. Applications containing knowingly false details may be withdrawn without refund.
03Applications and allocation
Submitting an application does not guarantee a place. Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis and the secretariat’s allocation decisions are final.
Committee and country preferences are considered but cannot be guaranteed. Allocations are published in the applicant portal and confirmed by email.
04Fees, payment and refunds
The delegate fee for YDFMUN 2026 is INR 2500. Institutional delegations are charged INR 2200 per delegate.
A place is confirmed only once payment has been received and verified. Fees are non-transferable between editions.
- Cancellations more than 30 days before the conference: full refund less processing costs.
- Cancellations between 30 and 14 days: 50% refund.
- Cancellations within 14 days, or non-attendance: no refund.
- If the conference is cancelled by the organisers, fees are refunded in full.
05Code of conduct
Delegates are expected to conduct themselves with the professionalism the simulation represents. Harassment, discrimination, intimidation, plagiarism and disruption of proceedings are grounds for immediate removal without refund.
Committee decisions, awards and adjudication rest with the executive board. Abuse directed at chairs, staff or fellow delegates will not be tolerated.
06Intellectual property
Background guides, agendas, branding and site content are the property of the Youth Diplomacy Forum and may not be reproduced commercially without written permission. Delegates retain ownership of position papers and resolutions they author.
07Media
The conference is photographed and filmed. By attending you acknowledge that you may appear in this material. Delegates who opt out of media consent during registration will not be featured in promotional content; if you wish to change that preference, contact the secretariat.
08Platform use
You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials. Do not attempt to access accounts, applications or administrative functions belonging to others. Automated scraping, penetration testing without written authorisation, and any attempt to circumvent access controls are prohibited.
09Liability
The forum is not liable for personal loss, injury or damage except where caused by our negligence. Delegates are responsible for their own travel, insurance and accommodation unless expressly stated otherwise.
